Cool Foods Countdown

The Center for Food Safety and Navdanya International have teamed up to create the Cool Foods Countdown to Copenhagen and Beyond.  This website and accompanying monthly newsletter highlight the impact of industrial agriculture in climate change.  The Intergovernmental Panel Fourth Assessment report on Climate Change (IPCC) states that at least 13.5 percent and as much as 32 percent of greenhouse gas emissions come from global industrial agriculture.  This issue is largely being overlooked in the climate negotiations, along with the important role that "cool foods," or ecological farming techniques, could play in reducing this impact.  To learn more about these issues, subscribe to the Cool Foods Countdown newsletter.
