Welcome to Presbyterian Worship

Welcome to Presbyterian Worship, a new blog from the Office of Theology and Worship of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). This is a place to share insight, inspiration, and resources for worship in the Presbyterian/Reformed tradition. I hope you'll find good food for thought and nourishment for your spirit.

A number of the posts in the coming year (2014-2015) will relate to a proposed revision to the PC(USA)'s Directory for Worship (part of our Book of Order), commended to the denomination for study by the 221st General Assembly (2014). You can read the full text of the proposed revision at pcusa.org/dfw, and you're invited to share feedback on the current draft at worship@pcusa.org. All comments must be received at this address for consideration in further revisions.

Other posts will relate to the Service for the Lord's Day, Scripture and proclamation, the sacraments, the Christian year, daily prayer, and Glory to God, the new Presbyterian hymnal. For an index to other online worship offerings, visit pcusa.org/worship.
