Josephine Anderson
Hi! My name is Josie Anderson. I am 24 years old, and I am from Madison, Wisconsin. Before beginning my YAV year, I worked as an Instructional Aide at a middle school in Madison. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Japanese and International Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and afterward spent a year in Japan as an Assistant Language Teacher at a high school. I’m passionate about culture, language, and human rights, and have sensed God’s call for me to spend more time living and serving abroad. I’m grateful for the opportunity to be in community with people in Peru. I look forward to the ways God will shape me and use me to foster cross-cultural relationships and support the well-being of those I will serve.
