Take note
The United Nations General Assembly has set aside September 21 of each year as the International Day of Peace — a day of global ceasefire and non-violence when all nations and people are encouraged to honor a cessation of hostilities. Recognize this day as you join together with your congregation to pray for peace.
Register now for “Marching In,” the annual Presbyterian Youth Workers’ Association gathering November 11-15 in the French Quarter. Communal worship and workshops on topics such as iPod devotionals, working with volunteers and strategies for surviving life in the church will provide participants with new ideas to help renew their ministry.
