Carole Landess has been under appointment as a mission worker
since 1993. Now a mission co-worker, Carole has been the site
coordinator for the Young Adult Volunteer site in Egypt since
2002. Carole also serves with the Coptic Evangelical Church in
Egypt as volunteer coordinator and teacher training facilitator
for the Synod of the Nile schools.
Carole's first appointment was as a mission volunteer in Al Salam
Private Language School in Tanta, Egypt, where she was an English
teacher.
Carole received her BA degree in history from George Washington
University in Washington, DC, and completed the accounting certification
program at Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
She has a variety of work experiences. Carole was a secretary
at the Department of Agriculture in Washington, DC; at the Planning
Department of the City of Worchester, Massachusetts; and with
Marriott Corporation in Arlington, Virginia.
