Extra Commitment Opportunities (ECOs)

ECOs provide options for Presbyterians to care for others and to assure that ministries and programs thrive. The following projects are ways in which you can help our overseas partner churches address the root causes of AIDS and combat the impact of AIDS. For them — and for us — "It’s a Matter of Faith." Thank you for your help!

You can donate online or send your gifts to:

* Please put the ECO number on the memo line of your check.

HIV AIDS & Peacemaking

Support the PC(USA) as it works with partner churches to address both the root causes and impact of HIV and AIDS by empowering women, reducing poverty through income-generating activities and providing orphan care and support, home-based care and AIDS education in seminaries.  While this account is specifically designed for contributions from congregations and governing bodies that wish to donate a portion of their share of the Peacemaking Offering to support projects addressing the HIV/AIDS pandemic, all gifts are welcomed.

HIV AIDS Support in Russia & Belarus

HIV and AIDS are spreading faster in some countries of the former Soviet Union than in any other place in the world. Gifts will support our church partners in Russia and Belarus as they respond to the crisis. Funds will support prevention, care and assistance for those living with HIV and AIDS, training for clergy and church workers, work with the media to raise awareness and the development of church-related anti-AIDS networks within regions.
