ACREC Advice And Counsel, Resolutions and Reports for the 218th General Assembly (2008)

The Chair of ACREC is a corresponding member of the General Assembly, with voice but not vote.  The committee will also have a team of people at the Assembly,  to resource the General Assembly committees as they work — to answer questions, and provide additional information as needed.  As an Advocacy Committee, ACREC has a unique role in that it may also speak as an advocate on matters of racial justice and issues that impact people of color.

One of the ways ACREC exercises its voice at the Assembly is through Advice and Counsel memoranda that the committee has written on a variety of issues.  ACREC has Advice and Counsel memoranda on business in 11 different committees at this Assembly.
